The Barossa Valley made its name world-wide with the full bodied shirazes Australia’s warm climate is famous for. But winemakers in the region have recently embraced blends such as GSM (grenache, shiraz and mourvedre) and shiraz-cabernet, as well as zesty white varieties including riesling, chardonnay and semillon. Accompanied by some of Australia’s finest restaurants, a world of delicious food and wine awaits you in this charming and picturesque part of South Australia.
