Is there a time of year, high or low season to visit the Top End? Are there any events that travellers should be aware of to make sure that they book in advance for?

We have two main seasons in Darwin. The green season is from December through to April, which is where everything is green. It's a wee bit hotter, rain's about an hour a day, maybe a wee bit longer. Then from May to November is your dry season where it's thirty degrees every day, beautiful sunshine with no chance of rain.

There are a few different events on throughout that time, so always good to check what's on. The top acts are in June. There's a lot of different events on, so the accommodation does fluctuate.

There's a couple, a Kebab shop is right across the road and down at Mr Barra they do a mean garlic and cheesy chips.
