Description

Day one

A crew member will pick you up at Abel Point Marina Kiosk at approx. 2:00pm.  You will then sail out to the Whitsunday Islands and enjoy a breathe taking sunset cruise while you sip a few drinks and get to know the other passengers. Try your hand at sailing, our friendly crew will show you the ropes or just sit back and relax! Once the vessel has reached its destination you will enjoy a freshly prepared dinner, then some ‘get to know you’ games before bedtime.

Day Two

You will wake up at our stunning Whitehaven Beach or Hill Inlet and enjoy an early morning breakfast while you take in the scenery. You will be dropped off at at the beach to enjoy a bushwalk, fun in the sun and a paddle in the water if you choose. Lunch will be prepared on your return and Tongarra will then sail north so you can take a well-earned snorkel and swim.

The shallow, clear blue waters of the Whitsundays are the ideal place for snorkelling, so be prepared to witness some spectacular underwater scenery. We’ll react to the weather and take you to areas that offer the best conditions on the day!  You will relax there for the evening under the stars, be served dinner, drinks and have a fun night to remember.

Day Three

Tongarra will depart after breakfast and head to your final snorkel spot. Enjoy an early lunch and sit back and relax while we sail back to Airlie Beach. Estimated arrival between 12-1pm

Departs: Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2:00pm

Returns: Wednesdays, Fridays and Mondays at 12.30pm

What to bring:

  • Pack a small soft bag and include:
  • Sunscreen, sunglasses, a towel and a hat
  • Practical clothing and footwear (warmer items during winter)
  • Underwater camera
  • iPod with your favourite music
  • Sleeping Bag (if you wish to sleep under the stars)
  • BYO alcohol (no glass or red wine please)
  • A sense of fun and adventure
