If you arrive in Adelaide a few days prior to your Overland adventure starting, make sure to try some choice drops from the Barossa or a McLaren Vale shiraz. We head out of the city pretty early on Day 1, stopping for a quick coffee in Clare (another great wine region), and then continuing on to the southern Flinders Ranges National Park. There’ll be time for a stretch of the legs at Alligator Gorge, lunch in Quorn – home of the Pichi Richi Railway – and a guided to the top of the ranges at Dutchman’s Stern.
