The Apollo maxi sailing boat has won every major race held on the East Coast of Australia, it is a fine vessel and a great choice for undertaking your 3 day 2 night adventure of the Whitsundays.

Adventure around the 74 magnificent islands and hone your sailing skills, visit Whitehaven Beach and go snorkelling, swimming and hiking in this beautiful national park.

**This boat books out FAST! We recommend booking 2 to 3 weeks in advance to avoid disappointment.**

  • Sunbathe on the famous Whitehaven Beach!

After boarding the vessel on day 1 and being briefed with regards to safety onboard we will motor out of the marina  You can join with us in hoisting the sails and heading to the north end of Hook Island where you can snorkel and paddle board in the Great Barrier Reef Marina Park. On completion of snorkel or paddle board activities, we will sail to our next destination – Stonehaven Bay, where we will anchor for the evening.

Day 2 commences early with a sail to Hill Inlet and the world-famous Whitehaven Beach with its 4 miles of white silica sand where you will relax on the beach for some time. During this time you can sunbake, swim or enjoy beach activities and games. We'll go for a bushwalk to a nice look out at the North end and if you like, another lookout walk at the South end of Whitehaven beach. Today it's all about beach and nature!

On our final day, we sail to another great snorkelling spot where we also get the paddle boards out. And if the weather permits, we make a stop at the Ngaro Caves at Nara Inlet before we sail across the Whitsunday Passage to disembark at Abel Point Marina.

That evening, passengers are able to join our After Trip Party at the Beaches Bar for free pizza and drinks.

NOTE: All sailing activities and destinations are weather dependent and subject to change at the skipper’s discretion.

All meals are freshly prepared and are subject to change based on the availability of produce.

Departs: Sundays & Thursdays from Coral Sea Marina, Airlie Beach. The vessel will depart the marina approx 9.00am.

Returns: Wednesdays & Sundays approx 4.00pm to Coral Sea Marina, Airlie Beach.
