The East Coast time saver package includes all the essential spots as well as 1 day tour to Fraser Island and a fun trip to the Whitsundays to save you time!

Arrive in Cairns and tick the Great Barrier Reef off your bucket list on an amazing day trip! Head south afterward to Magnetic Island for some sunshine, relaxation and exploration.

Following that arrive in Airlie Beach for a tour of the amazing Whitsunday Islands before continuing down to Rainbow Beach where you can enjoy a 4 wheel drive experience of Fraser Island.

Finally have time to explore Noosa and Brisbane before the end of a memorable journey.

Day 1 – Cairns

Arrive in Cairns at anytime this day and check into your accommodation, the rest of the day is free to explore at your own leisure.

Day 2 – Great Barrier Reef

Enjoy a day of Snorkelling on various reef sites on the Great Barrier Reef!

Day 3 – Cairns to Magnetic island

Travel from Cairns to Townsville to catch a ferry to Magnetic Island. This includes the ferry return ticket.

Day 4 - Magnetic Island

Explore Magnetic Island as you please, go hiking, hire a topless car and explore the island or snorkel one of the many beaches.

Day 5 – Magnetic Island to Airlie Beach

Travel from Magnetic Island to Airlie Beach this day, taking the ferry to Townsville before catching the bus from the terminal. Arrive in Airlie Beach early evening and check into your hostel before exploring the town.

Day 6 – Whitsundays (Lunch, Dinner)

Get ready for your 2 day & 1 night tour of Whitsunday Island! You will have information about the departure time and location on your voucher. Enjoy two scenic days of beaches and snorkelling on the Whitsundays! Click the Whitsunday Boat options tab to checkout the boats and their itineraries.

All Whitsundays Trips in the time saver packages are on sailing boats with 22 to 24 passengers maximum on board, you can let us know if you have a preference otherwise we will put you on the boat that best lines up with the rest of your trip.

Day 7  - Return to Airlie Beach (Breakfast)

Another day on the beautiful Whitsundays. Explore a bit more of this awesome area from the boat or underwater while snorkelling.

Day 8 – Airlie Beach to Rainbow Beach

Enjoy a relaxing day in Airlie Beach before boarding the overnight bus to Rainbow Beach

Day 9 – Rainbow Beach

Arrive in Rainbow Beach and check into your accommodation before spending the afternoon exploring or relaxing!

Day 10 – Fraser Island (Lunch)

Get picked up from your Rainbow Beach accommodation and take a ferry across to the World Heritage sand island that is Fraser Island. Today you will get to have a swim in the famous Lake McKenzie, visit the historical heart of the island – Central Station and the rainforest boardwalk, see ancient King Ferns at Wanggoolba Creek, visit Pile Valley’s famous Satinay trees and trek to Basin Lake which is perched high in the dunes.

We discover the ocean highway of 75-Mile Beach and its famous icon of the SS Maheno Shipwreck, swim in crystal-clear Eli Creek with ocean views, visit The Pinnacles Coloured Sands where you learn about local mythology, climb Indian Head for Fraser Island’s most spectacular views and experience the natural rock pool jacuzzis at Champagne Pools.  Take the ferry back to the mainland and be dropped at your accommodation around 6pm (times vary due to tides) *Itinerary may vary.

Day 11 – Rainbow Beach to Noosa

Travel to Noosa and check into your accommodation.

Day 12 – Noosa

Spend a fun day in Noosa. You've got all the time to relax, eat and drink.

Day 13 – Noosa

Explore Noosa as you please. Head to the beach, Australia Zoo or Noosa National park or the Everglades!

Day 14 – Noosa to Brisbane

Travel to Brisbane and spend the afternoon checking out the city!

Day 15 – Brisbane 

Today is free to spend exploring Brisbane at your own leisure!

Day 16 - Brisbane

Your journey comes to an end, you can check out of the hostel and are free to travel onward anytime this day!

What exactly are the differences? 

Greyhound

Q: Is this a Fully Guided Tour?

A: No, This is a combination of accommodation and separate tours that we organise for you. You need to choose how you travel between your destinations whether by bus or driving. You can then choose to have open dated tickets or elect a starting date and we’ll organise everything and send you an itinerary!

Q: Can I change anything?

A: Of course, Just call or email us and we can organise a custom package in no time and set you on your adventure.

Q: Will I meet lots of people this way?
