Fraser Island Whitsundays – Adventure Package

3 Day 2 Night Fraser Island Tag Along Safari (Departs Rainbow Beach or Noosa)

Your tour starts the day before you head out to Fraser Island. There’s a compulsory safety briefing at 4:00pm the day prior. This talk gives you a comprehensive overview of safety considerations while touring the island. It includes some useful hints and tips for driving on soft sand. The valuable briefing lasts for approximately 1.5 hours. You’ll be assigned to your vehicle groups and get a have a chance to meet your travel companions.

All Supplies Double Checked

The morning of departure is an exciting time. Everyone assembles in their traveling groups. Together your group will check off all your food and supplies.

You will then:

• pack your food into the eskies
• pack alcohol into cool boxes
• do a full vehicle inspection including checking all camping and cooking equipment
• do a full driver briefing on soft sand driving
• review the use of gears in these conditions

Then it’s off you go!

Seeing The Best Places

The itinerary of the tour will change according to tides and weather. These conditions will influence where you go. Your tour leader will make sure you get to see the very best parts of Fraser Island. These will include Lake McKenzie, Lake Wabby, Eli Creek, Champagne Pool, Indian Head and The Maheno Shipwreck.

Relax At One Base Camp

You will only set up camp once and this will be your base during your Fraser Island visit. You’ll travel back to this area every evening so you can sit down, relax with a drink and cook your evening meal.

Party With Your New Friends

On the third and final day you will arrive back at Rainbow Beach around 3:30pm (depending on tides). This is a great time to enjoy a few drinks and some food with your friends at the bar and restaurant.

*Important: Plan to arrive in Rainbow Beach in time to make a 4pm safety briefing the day prior to departure.

Whitsunday Island Maxi Sailing Adventure (Departs Airlie Beach)

This is a great way to explore the islands. The tour gives you time to relax at the magnificent Whitehaven Beach, walk to the famous Hill Inlet Lookout and experience snorkelling stops on the coral reefs just at the edge of the islands.

Visit Stunning Reefs

The tour will take you over 100 kms around these stunning islands. That’s 2 days and 2 nights of adventure. Your Maxi Yacht sails faster than other charter yachts. They use wind power so they are environmentally friendly. You’ll visit the famous Whitehaven Beach as well as the Northern end of the Whitsundays. This area is considered the best fringing coral reefs in the Whitsundays, especially around Hayman Island, Langford Reef and Mantaray Bay.
