“If you are short on time and are looking for a tour which leaves in the afternoon, this is a great option to tick off the Australian wildlife bucket list while in Melbourne. The little penguins are super cute and you’ll be guaranteed to see them as they go out to sea fishing every day and have to bring home their catch for the kids at sunset” – Cameron – One Stop Adventures Travel Expert

Description

  • Small Groups (18 - 24 maximum)
  • Visit the Nobbies boardwalk and seal rocks
  • Find a good spot and watch the penguin parade at sunset

At the Nobbies and Seal Rocks, the clifftop boardwalk opens up breathtaking views of Phillip Island’s wild south coast, and there are further lookout points among natural sea bird gardens which have spectacular flowering displays in spring.

Then witness Victoria’s largest colony of little penguins in the nightly Penguin Parade. As dusk falls, hundreds of little penguins splash out of the water on to the beach, making their way to their burrows. They feed at sea, and return to their burrows to mate, care for their young and to moult.
