G'day, you've made it to Brisbane! It's such an incredible city with lots to do. Firstly, check into your hostel and then head to the city to explore the fun esplanade. Go for a nice walk along the Brisbane River. Or jump on the free CityHopper ferry to see the city by boat. At 5pm it's time to meet your guide and your tour mates at the reception of the hostel.
SLEEP: Brisbane YHA or similar

Day 2: Brisbane to Noosa
Today we're driving to Noosa. Take your time this morning because we'll be leaving later in the morning. We'll have some lunch and go for a walk to enjoy beautiful vistas of Noosa and Noosa Headlands. Noosa is a very laid-back and quite fancy place. The hostel we're staying in shows it all! It has a pool, its own cafe and comfortable dorms with privacy screens. Enjoy a free drink at the bar and then check out Noosa.
SLEEP: Bounce

Day 3: A free day in Noosa
Noosa is a visit worth, and that's why you get a whole day off to explore the best bits of this cosy town. Go canoeing on the Noosa Everglades (own expense), try to find the Fairy Pools or chill out on the beach. Want to go shopping? Check out the many shops in Noosa Heads. Keep in mind, Noosa can be quite expensive. There is also a beautiful National Park where you can walk for hours. Stunning scenery included!
SLEEP: Bounce

Day 4: Noosa to Fraser Island (K'gari)
Ready to explore Fraser Island? We'll be leaving early this morning, so make sure you are well rested. Today your 3 day 2 night K'gari tour starts. We'll change the bus for a 4WD and take the ferry to the island. Once here, we head to our camp to enjoy lunch. This epic beach camp will be our home for the next 2 nights and is equipped with a kitchen and a ocean view terrace. After lunch it's time to check out K'gari. Today and tomorrow we'll hike, swim and drive. We'll be stopping at Lake Boorangoora or also called Lake McKenzie. You can even drive a 4WD yourself, how cool is that! Your bed for tonight is a comfy safari tent. Before we go to sleep, we'll enjoy a tasty dinner and stargaze while sitting around the campfire.
SLEEP: Safari tent at Beach Camp K'gari

Day 5: Spend the day at K'gari
It's going to be another great day here at K'gari! Eat lunch on the beach, spot dingoes and explore the many lakes during the day. The water in these lakes are perfect for swimming. You don't have to worry a shark will swim past. In the evening we'll chill out at our camp, have dinner and play fun games with your crew.
SLEEP: Safari tent at Beach Camp K'gari

Day 6: K'gari to Bundaberg
We'll start today with a quick breakfast and then continue our K'gari adventure. We'll be exploring some more of the island, have lunch in the forest and then drive towards Rainbow Beach. This little town is another popular start point for Fraser Island tours. From there we'll hop on our bus again and head to Bundaberg. THE place for rum and ginger beer! Sugarcane is another popular Bundaberg product. You'll be staying in a villa of Kelly's Eco Resort (or something similar). Sleeping won't be a problem here as you are surrounded by a beautiful nature reserve. There is even a spa, sauna and tennis court. In the evening we'll gather for a BBQ dinner and hit they hay whenever you want to.
SLEEP: Kelly's Eco Resort (you'll be sleeping in villas)

Day 7: A free day in Bundaberg
Today you have a free day to spend in Bundaberg. We have a few things planned, however, you don't have to join the rest of the crew. In the morning we'll go to Mon Repos turtle centre. Watch these cute little creatures swim, and learn a bit more about them. The other planned activity today is a rum tasting at Bundaberg Rum Centre (included). You can also book a full day snorkel tour to Lady Musgrave island (own expense). Swim, snorkel, do a boat cruise and chill on the beach.
SLEEP: Kelly's Eco Resort or similar

Day 8: Bundaberg to Airlie Beach
Today we'll leave Bundaberg behind and drive towards Airlie Beach. Keep in mind, it's a long drive, but we make sure to stop every now and then. Other than that, sit back and relax. As we'll be arriving in the evening, buy yourself enough snacks. Once we get to Airlie Beach, you can check in at your hostel to get some sleep or check out the buzzing city centre of Airlie.
SLEEP:  Base Airlie Beach or Similar

Day 9: Airlie Beach to the Whitsundays
We're taking it easy this morning. Go for a swim in the lagoon or enjoy a big breakfast at one of the cafes overlooking the sea. After checking out, make sure to get your safety briefing for your sailing adventure. Get yourself some lunch as well and meet your group at the marina to board your sailing yacht. Say goodbye to the mainland for a bit to welcome your sailing adventure! You'll be sailing to the islands where you can swim or snorkel. Or get a tan on the deck. Tonight we'll be feasting on a yummy dinner and enjoying a refreshing drink or two (BYO). If the weather conditions persists, you can sleep on deck and check out the impressive milky way. There are beds below deck too as not everyone feels like sleeping outside.
SLEEP: Onboard of the yacht (shared dorm cabins/sections)

Day 10: Spend the day on Whitsunday Island
A WHOLE day on the Whitsundays, who doesn't want that! Wake up early-ish, have some breakfast and then get yourself ready to sail to Whitsunday Island. Today you'll be exploring the very famous Whitehaven Beach, go for a walk to Hill Inlet Lookout and snorkel, swim and relax on the soft, white sand for hours. The evening is again reserved for a tasty dinner and an incredible sunset. Sit down and relax with your (new) friends on the deck with a drink.
SLEEP: Onboard of the yacht (shared dorm cabins/sections)

Day 11: Whitsundays to Airlie Beach
It's sad to say, but today we'll leave the beautiful Whitsundays behind. Don't worry though, you'll have the whole morning to go for another swim, snorkel or chill time on the deck. We'll then sail back to the marina and you can treat yourself to a tasty lunch. After checking in at your hostel again, spend the rest of your day as you wish. Relax by the pool, find a funky bar or snooze for a bit in your room. Airlie Beach has a great vibe and offers many bars, restaurants and clubs. Make sure to meet up with your guide and the rest of your group to get some discount on drinks and food.
SLEEP: Base Airlie or similar

Day 12: Airlie Beach to Yungaburra
You might have never heard of the Atherton Tablelands before, but after today you won't forget this place ever again. Here you find the popular Millaa Millaa falls. Just in case you want to know why this area is so popular, this is where they filmed the iconic Herbal Essences (shampoo) ad. Even though it's a must-visit, there is more on the planning today. Before we check in at our eco lodge in Yungaburra and have an awesome BBQ dinner, we'll paddle through the rainforest at Lake Tinaroo. We'll do this once it's dark so you can stare at the beautiful stars (depending on weather conditions. Otherwise we'll do the canoe trip in the morning).
SLEEP: On the Wallaby Eco Lodge

Day 13: Yungaburra to Cairns
Today is a jam packed day full of fun activities. You'll be checking out Curtain Fig Tree (heritage listed) and go for a swim at Lake Eacham in the morning. We'll then head to the hippy town called Kuranda. Wander around the markets and enjoy a lunch together with your group. Once we're all fueled up and bought ourselves a nice souvenir, it's time to go to Cairns. A fantastic place for backpackers! Our hostel, or more likely a hotel, has a lovely pool with a man-made beach. Here we'll have a tasty dinner and get ready for a unforgettable night out in Cairns.
SLEEP: Gilligan's Hotel & Resort or similar

Day 14: A free day in Cairns
You just spend many days road tripping along the east coast. So, if you feel like you need a lazy day, just relax around the lagune in Cairns or the resort pool. Rather see a bit more in and around Cairns? Book a tour to Cape Tribulation and the Daintree forest, go scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef or explore the area from above: go skydiving! You can also bungy jump, check out the fun bars and cafes of Cairns or visit the Botanical Gardens.
SLEEP: Gilligan's Hotel & Resort or similar
