Together with your group you'll head to Mullumbimby, a fun hippy town near Byron. Wander around the town centre and treat yourself with tasty chocolates at the Mullumbimby Chocolate Shop. Your next stop is the popular Surfers Paradise. Enjoy a lunch (own expense) and sit down on the beach for a bit. You'll then check out the nature reserve where you can spot kangaroos. Finally, we drive to Brisbane where you'll be able to stroll along the Brisbane River, go out for dinner and eventually get a good night sleep in your hostel.

Day 2: Brisbane to Noosa
After a night in Brisbane, we'll be heading to the beautiful Noosa. Before we check in at Bounce, which is an impressive hostel with its own pool and cafe, you'll be able to enjoy lunch (own expense) and views of Noosa and Noosa Headlands. In the evening, snatch a free drink at the bar and then check out Noosa with your (new) friends).
SLEEP: Bounce

Day 3: A free day in Noosa
We don't have anything planned today, and you can do whatever you feel like. Dream away on the beach or explore Noosa's National Park. You'll be in awe of the mesmerising vistas! You can also explore the Everglades while kayaking, skydive or book a surf lesson (own cost). As we said before, the hostel has its own pool and cafe. Chill out around the pool with a cocktail in your hand. Whatever you do today, it's your choice.
SLEEP: Bounce

Day 4: Noosa to K'gari
Today you begin your Fraser Island (K'gari) tour! We'll head out early so we have all the time we need to explore Australia's famous sand island. It takes a bus, ferry and 4WD ride to get to our camp, but it's very worth it. Firstly, we'll enjoy some lunch and then you can check out our home for the next few nights. After lunch we'll hop in our 4WD again and start exploring the island. In the evening you can sit down, relax with a drink and enjoy dinner.
SLEEP: Safari tent at Beach Camp K'gari

Day 5: Spend the day at K'gari

Wakey, wakey, it's time to explore more of K'gari. Today we've got some lakes to visit. Lake McKenzie and Eli creek are two famous spots to go for a refreshing dip. We'll also have lunch on the beach and you are able to drive a 4WD yourself on the sand. This is one of the most popular must-do's on the island. After a fun day checking out lakes and beaches, we'll be making our way back to camp. Make the best of your night, because it will be the last one on K'gari.
SLEEP: Safari tent at Beach Camp K'gari

Day 6: K'gari to Bundaberg
To give you as much time as possible, we'll head off after breakfast for more adventure time. You'll be exploring the inland tracks, have the opportunity to go for another swim and enjoy a lunch in the forest. Then, sadly, we'll leave K'gari behind and drive via Rainbow Beach towards Bundaberg. This town is popular for its rum, ginger beer and sugarcane. Tonight you'll be sleeping in a comfortable villa at Kelly's Eco Resort. Not only can you relax in the pool here, but also chill out in the spa! If you rather be active, check out the tennis court or games room. Before falling asleep in our cosy beds, we'll first have a delicious BBQ dinner.
SLEEP: Kelly's Eco Resort

Day 7: A free day in Bundaberg
Although we have a few things planned today, you're still free to roam around on your own. If you feel like it, join the guide for a visit to Mon Repos Turtle Centre. Did you know this centre takes care of the biggest concentration of nesting mating turtles on the Eastern Australian mainland? The Gidji cafe at the centre offers drinks and snacks or lunches. Later in the day we head to Bundaberg's Rum Centre for some yummy rum tastings. If you don't feel like drinking, there are many other fun things to do. Book a full day snorkel tour to Lady Musgrave island (own expense). Snorkel, swim and dream away on the beach all day long. Or check out Bargara Beach, relax around the resort pool and check out the cafes in Bundaberg.
SLEEP: Kelly's Eco Resort or similar

Day 8: Bundaberg to Airlie Beach
After a fun day in Bundaberg it's time to travel to Airlie Beach. This will be our start point for our Whitsundays tour. The drive up to Airlie Beach is a long one, so fuel up on snacks and drinks. We'll be arriving in the evening and you don't want to be too hungry while checking in. Our hostel for tonight is close to the main strip, so if you feel like partying all night, the bars and clubs are walkable.
SLEEP:  Base Airlie Beach or Similar

Day 9: Airlie Beach to the Whitsundays
Today is the day we start our Whitsundays adventure! Make sure to check in this morning to get your safety briefing for your trip. Later in the day, walk to the marina to meet your crew. We'll hoist the sails and begin our 2 day 2 night Whitsundays sailing tour around the 74 mesmerising islands. We'll be snorkelling, swimming and relaxing on the deck. Bring your own drinks so you can enjoy a wine while watching the stunning sunset. If you're up for it, you can sleep outside tonight. Otherwise, there are some comfy beds below deck.
SLEEP: Onboard of the yacht (shared dorm cabins/sections)

Day 10: Spend the day on Whitsunday Island
Another fun day around the Whitsunday islands. Explore the underwater world, go for bush walks and visit one of the most popular beaches of Australia: Whitehaven Beach. We'll also be checking out Hill Inlet Lookout and sail, swim and snorkel some more. Don't forget to take photos, because this is the place to be. In the evening we'll enjoy a tasty dinner with dessert and then head back to the deck for drinks, laughs and stargazing.
SLEEP: Onboard of the yacht (shared dorm cabins/sections)

Day 11: Whitsundays to Airlie Beach
It's sad to say, but today we'll leave the beautiful Whitsundays behind. Don't worry though, you'll have the whole morning to go for another swim, snorkel or chill time on the deck. We'll then sail back to the marina and you can treat yourself to a tasty lunch. After checking in at your hostel again, spend the rest of your day as you wish. Relax by the pool, find a funky bar or snooze for a bit in your room. Airlie Beach has a great vibe and offers many bars, restaurants and clubs. Make sure to meet up with your guide and the rest of your group to get some discount on drinks and food.
SLEEP: Base Airlie or similar

Day 12: Airlie Beach to Yungaburra
You might have never heard of the Atherton Tablelands before, but after today you won't forget this place ever again. Here you find the popular Millaa Millaa falls. Just in case you want to know why this area is so popular, this is where they filmed the iconic Herbal Essences (shampoo) ad. Even though it's a must-visit, there is more on the planning today. Before we check in at our eco lodge in Yungaburra and have an awesome BBQ dinner, we'll paddle through the rainforest at Lake Tinaroo. We'll do this once it's dark so you can stare at the beautiful stars (depending on weather conditions. Otherwise we'll do the canoe trip in the morning).
SLEEP: On the Wallaby Eco Lodge

Day 13: Yungaburra to Cairns
Today is a jam packed day full of fun activities. You'll be checking out Curtain Fig Tree (heritage listed) and go for a swim at Lake Eacham in the morning. We'll then head to the hippy town called Kuranda. Wander around the markets and enjoy a lunch together with your group. Once we're all fueled up and bought ourselves a nice souvenir, it's time to go to Cairns. A fantastic place for backpackers! Our hostel, or more likely a hotel, has a lovely pool with a man-made beach. Here we'll have a tasty dinner and get ready for a unforgettable night out in Cairns.
SLEEP: Gilligan's Hotel & Resort or similar

Day 14: A free day in Cairns
You might have been partying hard the night before, so stay in bed a bit longer this morning. The rest of the day you can relax around the resort pool or the lagoon. Is exercise more your thing to get rid of a hangover? Book a day tour to Cape Tribulation, bungy jump, explore the Great Barrier Reef or go skydiving (own cost). Cairns has many restaurants and cafes where you can eat all day long to fuel up again. You might need it if you're planning on another night of clubbing.
SLEEP: Gilligan's Hotel & Resort or similar
