The day starts mid-morning, heading off from Melbourne to make your way towards the Great Ocean Road. Your first stop of the day will be the Memorial Arch, also known as the Gateway to the Great Ocean Road, for a photo opportunity. Continue towards the seaside town of Lorne, where you'll have a lunch stop (own expense), before heading to a stunning lookout point for your first chance to admire the stunning coastal views.
After checking out some epic views, you'll make your way to the Great Otway National Park. Stroll through the lush Melba Gully on a guided rainforest walk, where you might be lucky enough to spot a hidden waterfall amongst the ferns. Head back along the coastline towards the impressive Loch Ard Gorge and learn about the famous Shipwreck Coast.
Continue on to the town of Port Campbell to enjoy a relaxing dinner (own expense) before heading to the highlight of the tour - the Twelve Apostles. Sit back and marvel at the sunset's glow illuminating the famous rock formations. After an amazing day of adventure, relax on the return journey through scenic farmlands, with a short stop in Colac before arriving back in Melbourne.
