I chose to do the one day trip to Wilsons Prom with based on recommendations from friends who had previously done it and it was proven to be the right choice! From the moment I was picked up by Matt I felt welcome on the bus, after a few quick pick ups the friendly atmosphere of the bus was felt by all and there was no social awkwardness. Matt was kind enough to realise that backpackers aren’t the most lively bunch in the early hours of the morning and respected this by letting us all catch up on a little more sleep. Once we reached Gippsland Matt provided us all with some facts about the area and started to explain about the Promontory itself. After we arrived we headed towards Mt Bishop and were left to walk up at our own pace. After arriving at the summit we were rewarded with fantastic views and a beautiful spot for lunch. After ambling back down it was only a short ride on the bus down to our next stop off point. This time it was a gentle walk along Tidal river down towards squeaky beach which definitely lives up to it’s name! After playing on the beach for a while it was time to head back towards the bus for our final leg of the journey back to Melbourne, we even had a few welcome detours searching for wildlife! Overall it was a great day trip made by Matt and his friendly attitude. Would not hesitate to use these guys again for any of the trips they provide.

My wife and I did this tour in November with a group of 21 passengers. It was a long drive from Melbourne to the national park but the guide stopped many times along the way. The first walk was 3.7k up to Mt Bishop. We were definitely the oldest of the group so we arrive last at the top, but so worth it! The guide really took care of us to make sure we enjoyed our journey. The location for the lunch break was nice too. It was at the granite dome where we could have a lookout over the valley. The afternoon walk was over the beach and really pleasant. We saw wombats on the way to go and wallabies and echidnas in the afternoon. It was a long day but we are really happy to have done it. Thanks Matt for the great day!

I did 2 day tour, the first one was Great Ocean Road and the second was Wilson Promontory. Both were great with guides being very professional. Thanks to Dale for the Great Ocean Road, I will come to do it again for a longer tour if I have the chance!

Mat, the tour guide, was a real legend! He was entertaining but also full of knowledge, there was no question he couldn’t answer. He walked with us on the trail overlooking the Bass Strait answering all our questions. There were many stops on the tours and also an opportunity to swim on the Squeaky Beach at the end. I give 5 stars to the tour guide and the company! I highly recommend this tour for everyone! Thanks Mat, I will definitely come back!
