Departing from Perth in the early morning, you will head north to the first destination, Nambung National Park, where you will get the chance to explore the famous Pinnacles. These ancient limestone rock formations will leave you in awe of nature. Journey on to Jurien Bay, where you will have the opportunity to sand-board down the massive expanse of dunes. After the adrenaline rush, you will continue through Geraldton to the quiet beach town of Kalbarri, where you will spend the night. Day three will definitely be a highlight of the trip, as today is the day you head to the beach and meet the world-famous Monkey Mia dolphins. These adorable, friendly dolphins are fed by park rangers and often swim up to the shore several times a day to say hello. After admiring these beautiful creatures, you will continue to the next destination of Coral Bay, known as the ‘Jewel of the Northwest’.
Coral Bay is home to the World Heritage-listed Ningaloo Reef. This stunning part of Western Australia is where over 250 species of coral and 500 species of fish happily live. Spend the day snorkelling with marine life or head out on an adventurous quad bike tour of the local area, before spending the night at Yardie Creek in the Cape Range National Park. Exmouth is the next destination, where you have a free day to spend how you please. Depending on the time of year, you may have the option to snorkel or scuba dive in search of unbelievable whale sharks and manta rays.
The next few days will be spent exploring the inland oasis of the Pilbara region. The sparsely populated Pilbara desert is known for its red earth and rich mineral deposits. You will trek the almighty landscapes of Karijini National Park, hike deep into the gorges, swim in cascading waterfalls and so much more. After adventuring in Karijini National Park, you will travel towards the coast and stop in Port Hedland, the second most populated town in the Pilbara. Take a quick tour of the town before lunch, and then continue to a nearby station, where you’ll spend the last night of your trip. The final day of your trip will involve a 5-hour drive to Broome. The scenery is beautiful the entire way and you will get to enjoy a leisurely break and stroll along the picturesque 80-Mile Beach. Upon arrival to Broome, you will say goodbye to your fellow travellers and enjoy an idyllic Broome sunset, reminiscing on the adventure of a lifetime!
