This half-day reef tour is an exhilarating, whirlwind experience. You’ll take a short stroll through the Daintree Rainforest until you arrive at Cape Tribulation to jump on the Ocean Safari boat. Then it will take around 25 minutes to reach the snorkelling site. But be sure to hold on tight as the skipper makes the journey extra fun with some twists and turns along the way!

Once you reach the first reef, you will have an hour to snorkel and take in the scenery. Be sure to keep an eye out for the various colourful fish that call the reef home. After an ample amount of snorkelling time, it’s on to the next reef site where you’ll have another hour to explore.

  • Sun protection

For sun protection, don’t forget to pack sunscreen. Make sure that your sunscreen is reef friendly so that you can help keep the reefs safe too. You may also want to bring a hat and sunglasses since the sun can be bright as it reflects off the water.

  • Reusable water bottle

Since you’ll be in the sun for half a day, you’ll want to bring a refillable water bottle. It’s important to stay hydrated while out at sea! We recommend bringing a plastic or metal water bottle, since a glass one can break.

There are endless options of waterproof cameras available these days. Whether you are looking for a film camera, a digital camera or a video camera, you have plenty of options.
