Darwin to Broome Ultimate Adventure

This 10 day tour is jam pack going from Darwin to Broome. You should expect swimming, bush walking, and seeing some incredible locations between the two towns.

On your first day, you’ll leave Darwin and go to Nitmiluk National Park. You’ll either be able to go for a swim at the base of Edith Falls or go on a croc cruise through Katherine Gorge. Afterwards, you’ll have some lunch before going to the campsite where you can sleep in a tent or a swag.

Waking up on day two, you’ll go straight to Lake Argyle to check out the native fauna and search for some crocodiles and other wildlife. You’ll then keep driving and overlook some mountains before reaching camp for the night. Today involves a bit of driving so you won’t get to see as much!

On day three you’ll get to see the sandstone towers of the Bungle Bungle Range. Make sure you take many photos of these sandstone towers when you get closer to them! Next, you’ll see the craggy gorges, other interesting rock formations, and hidden waterfalls at Purnululu National Park. To end the day you’ll watch the sunset in the Kimberley.

Explore more of the Bungle Bungles on day four! First, you’ll go to Echidna Chasm which formed over millions of years from flowing water. Going from the tight space of Echidna Chasm, you’ll then see the natural amphitheatre of Cathedral Gorge. If you fancy going up high, you can pay for a helicopter flight over the area.

Time flies when you’re having fun, we can’t believe it’s day 5 already. Today you’ll see some of the wilderness parks of El Questro but on the way, you’ll see Warmum and Durack Ranges.

There’s not a lot of driving to do on day six! You’ll explore more of El Questro to see all the scenic spots. In the area, there are huge cliffs, tall waterfalls, deep gorges, and even swimming holes. After you’ve done some exploring, you’ll walk to Emma Gorge for a swim and go to the thermal springs of Zebedee.

On day seven expect around five hours of driving along the Gibb River Road and through Kimberley. You’ll stop along the way for food and to stretch your legs.

Spend the morning on day eight checking outmanning Gorge and doing some more swimming. You’ll either then see Adcock or Galvans gorge, depending on the season! After exploring, you’ll go to Silent Grove for the night.

Today you explore Bell Gorge, Windjana Gorge which was a segment of a 375 million-year-old reef, and then Lennard River. You might get the chance to spot freshwater crocs at the river and other wildlife.

Your final day you spend it exploring the Napier Range and Tunnel Creek which is a 750 metre underground limestone cave. Then you will finally arrive in Broome where you can hopefully see the sunset at Cable Beach!
