Leave the buzzing Gold Coast behind as we start the day with a scenic drive into the verdant hinterlands. We’ll arrive at O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat where you will explore the lush rainforests with a guided bushwalk. Your guide will share plenty of info about the rich ecology and historical importance of the World Heritage Listed Gondwana Rainforest.

The guided rainforest walk will take you up into the tree canopies as you wander along the treetop walk. This suspension bridge rises to 15 metres above the ground for an exceptional perspective of the forest. Keep an eye out for wildlife along the way!

Enjoy a fantastic photo opportunity with the colourful crimson rosellas. The noisy parrots will eat seeds right out of your hands! Then it’s back on the bus to a scenic lookout where you can enjoy 360 degree views of the aptly named Scenic Rim.

Our final stop for the day is the Canungra Valley Vineyard for a glass of their locally made sparkling wine. Wander about the historical homestead and vineyard or just relax and enjoy the scenery before we make our way back to the Gold Coast.
