Kangaroo island

Kangaroo Island is South Australia’s premier nature based tourism destination. Cape Jervis is the port the ferry leaves from to carry you over to the action packed island to the south!

On Kangaroo Island you will be able to walk amongst Australian sea lions, visit Flinders Chase National Park and get up close to echidnas, wallabies, kangaroos and koalas.

Day 1 - Arrive in Adelaide

Today you can arrive in Adelaide at anytime you please, Check-in time for your accommodation is 2:00pm but if you arrive early you will be able to store your bags and head out to explore. Hit the beach or the shops, or go for a walk. The choice is yours! At night check out one of the bars or restaurants Adelaide has to offer.

Day 2 - Barossa Valley Day Tour - Lunch included

Begin the day at approximately 7:45am from Adelaide. The tour starts by driving through the Adelaide Hills stopping to check out the worlds largest rocking horse and the whispering wall.

The first winery is Jacobs Creek, learn about the history and tempt your tastebuds at this fine winery.

Kies is the second stop as we make our way through the delicious Barossa Valley, with wine exclusively sold from the cellar door. Make sure you sample as much as you can while the guide prepares lunch.

A delicious Aussie BBQ is on the menu today, chow down on some kangaroo and line your stomachs before we make our way to the next winery.

Visit another 2 premium wineries, stop at Mengler's Hill to admire the view of the valley before returning to Adelaide around 5:00pm.

Day 3 - Kangaroo Island Day Tour - Lunch included

Depart Adelaide early morning and drive to Cape Jervis bay where the ferry is taken across to Kangaroo Island.

Once on the island enjoy the drive to seal bay conservation park for a guided ranger walk amongst a colony of rare Australian sea lions.

Enjoy a two course lunch at Vivonne Bay Lodge before going koala spotting at Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.

Visit Flinders Chase National Park and get up close with native Australian wildlife such as echidnas, kangaroos koalas and more.

Head to the south coastline for walks on the Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch. Snap a magnificent photo of the coastline from the Remarkable Rocks and descend the rugged cliff face of Admirals Arch to discover a sanctuary for New Zealand fur seals.

Make your way back to Adelaide arriving back around 10:30pm.

Day 4 - End of itinerary

Check out any time before 10:00am on this day.
