Spend a few hours lazing around the sprawling 13th Beach, even grabbing a surfboard to test your mettle on the world famous waves. Head on over to the Jirrahlinga Koala & Wildlife Sanctuary, where you can meet some of Australia’s most adorable animals including the eponymous koala!

Swim with seals
The Bellarine Peninsula is an oceanic wonderland, teeming with marine life like the fur seal and bottlenose dolphin. Luckily, you have the chance to dip below the waters and take a swim with some of these incredible underwater creatures! Tours depart from the charming village of Queenscliff and take you out to the Port Phillip Bay Marine Sanctuary, when you can learn to snorkel in reefs that are full of vibrant fish.
Once you are happy with your snorkelling abilities you will then get to head out and swim amongst pods of uber cute fur seals! And, if you’re lucky, you may even swim alongside the ocean’s most intelligent species – the bottlenose dolphin!
