Here are our favourite 5 things to do while in the Mornington Peninsula.

2. Arthurs Seat Eagle
Get a panoramic view of Mornington, and climb aboard the Skyrail at Arthurs Seat. These views are some of the best in the area! Get suspended in midair and slowly float above the panoramic view. Catch the city skyline of Melbourne for a memorable contrast of city meets nature, like a 3D map that you can see from the sky.
3. Bike Trails
Explore the countryside with a bike trail through the Mornington Peninsula. There are plenty of bike trails to choose from, for a range of different abilities and preferences. Check out Red Hill Bike Trail – it’s the most popular route in the area, and it can help you soak up the views of the area. It’s the best way to see everything.
4. Hot springs
The Mornington Peninsula hot springs are the ultimate relaxation. They are a set of luxury mineral hot springs founded by Richard and Charles Davidson in the early 1990s. The hot springs took their inspiration from a trip to Japan and based their spa on Japanese onsens. A 40+ acre site sprawling with natural hot spring pools and plunge pools, this spring sources natural water from 650 metres under the ground. They offer luxury experiences, but it’s suitable for any budget – from $35 for adults. These peninsula hot springs are the epitome of relaxation. Regularly visiting a hot spring helps to improve sleep, detoxify, and promote healthy skin. Who doesn’t want that on a trip to the Australian countryside?
5. Food and drink
Whether you’re visiting a winery for an afternoon splash of crisp rose, or you’re clinking an ice-cold beer there are plenty of great places to relax with scrumptious food and drink. If you’re popping into one of the beach cafes for a morning stroll, the food and drink scene in Mornington dips its toes into fine countryside dining. There are plenty of wineries in the area to sample selections of the area’s finest wines. For a large garden winery with rolling views and branded barrels that are the perfect backdrop to your Mornington photo gallery, check out T’Gallant.
