Come on a Great Ocean Road tour with a difference, it’s more like a road trip with your new mates/guides Andrew and Adam and their Dog Jacko! Enjoy all the best sights to behold along this spectacular coast line and get off the beaten track too! You can even learn to surf on one of the beautiful beaches if you want before continuing to all the favourite locations.

Accommodation is in a native american Teepee which can sleep 12-15 people and even has a fire in the middle – how cool! You’ll visit Bells Beach, Memorial Arch, Kennett River, Maits Rest, the 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge and create new friendships to last a lifetime while enjoying one of the top ten drives in the world and the number 1 reason to visit Melbourne and Victoria!

  • All surfing equipment – wet suits, boards and instruction (optional)

Description

  • Travel the Great Ocean Road with Andrew and Adam - your new mates/tour guides

  • Sleep in a 22 square foot Teepee! - all mattresses, sleeping bags, pillows included and it has a fire in the middle
  • Visit Bells Beach
  • See the 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge
  • Enjoy an Aussie BBQ at Apollo Bay

We depart the Melbourne Visitors Centre at Federation Square in Melbourne city at 9:00am and head out on the highway arriving in Anglesea approximately 11:00am for 2 hours of surfing or chilling on the beach. We cruise past memorial arch while playing awesome tunes and taking in all the sights views and animals if we spot any. We visit Sheok Falls before arriving at Kennet River to see koalas, ducks, wild rosellas and king parrots which will land on you! We enjoy a stunning view at Cape Patton before checking out Apollo Bay and doing one last shop for food.

We arrive at our home for the night - a native American Teepee which can sleep 12 to 15 people at around 5:30pm and enjoy an Aussie BBQ by the beach for sunset. We share a few beers, stories and play games before turning in for the night. The next morning we wake up around 9:00am and head to Maits Rest for a light hike through the rainforest before driving to the end of the Great Ocean Road to check out the 12 Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge. We then head back to Melbourne enjoying a fish and chip lunch along the way getting back into the city around 5:00pm.
