3 Day 2 Night Fraser Island Tag Along Safari

( Departs Rainbow Beach)

Your tour starts the day before you head out to Fraser Island with a compulsory safety briefing the day prior. This gives you a chance to learn about driving on soft sand and your safety equipment. The briefing takes about approximately 1.5 hours and you’ll learn a lot. After the briefing, you’ll be allocated to a vehicle group. You’ll then get a chance to meet other travellers who will be touring with you.

The morning of departure is an exciting time. You’ll work together with your travel group to:

• Double check all your supplies
• Pack your food into the eskies
• Pack alcohol into cool boxes
• Do a full vehicle inspection
• Check all camping and cooking equipment
• Revise the driver briefing on soft sand driving and use of gears.

Then it’s off you go.

See The Best Places

Your itinerary will change according to tide times and changing weather conditions. Your experienced lead driver will ensure you get to see the very best of Fraser Island. You’ll be seeing places like Lake McKenzie, Lake Wabby, Eli Creek, Champagne Pool, Indian Head and The Maheno Shipwreck to name a few.

Relax at One Base Camp

You’ll only have to set up camp once on this camping trip. Every evening you’ll travel back to this area to sit down, relax with a drink and cook your evening meal.

Party Time at Rainbow Beach

On the third and final day you will arrive back at Rainbow Beach at approximately 3:30pm (depending on tides). This is a great time to enjoy a few drinks and some food with your new friends at the on-site bar and restaurant.

Whitsunday Islands New Horizon Sail Boat

(Departs from Airlie Beach Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays)

We think we’ve perfected our itinerary over the years, allowing you to see the best parts of the Whitsunday’s on your sailing adventure. We’ll take you to Australia’s finest beach – Whitehaven Beach, where you’ll enjoy the stunning views and the fantastic feel of silica sand between your toes. Blue Pearl Bay to experience the beautiful underwater coral gardens as well as Luncheon Bay for some fantastic snorkeling.

There are heaps of other great spots available and we usually leave it up to the weather and wind to tell us where’s good for the day.
