We navigate small lakes and island of reeds and tea-trees into the the Narrows where the water is so glassy it is known as the river of mirrors. We check out the wildlife and blankets of waterlillies and paddle to Harry's hut where we enjoy a well earned picnic lunch beside the river and refresh ourselves with a swim from the jetty.
