The Whitsundays is a region that is located off the coast of Queensland. While the region may be a bit of a drive from the major cities, we can assure you that the Whitsundays are 100% worth visiting!

Why visit the Whitsundays?

There are numerous reasons to visit the Whitsundays!

The Whitsundays offer pristine sandy beaches, turquoise waters, and a phenomenal ambience. The region’s islands are also surrounded by the Great Barrier Reef, making the Whitsundays a great place for snorkelling and other water activities.

Take a Whitsundays day tour

Spend a day exploring the Whitsundays on an epic day tour. You will begin the day at 9:00am as you depart from the meeting point in Airlie Beach. You’ll be able to enjoy an entire day snorkelling and island hopping, with the speedy Red Cat boat.

The first stop of the day will be at Hill Inlet Lookout, where you can admire the scenery at Whitehaven Beach. After spending some time soaking in our surroundings, we will continue on to Bettys Beach and Mantaray Bay. Here we will spend some time snorkelling and enjoying a delicious lunch.

The final stop of the day will be at Langford Sandbar. As its name suggests, it is a fascinating island with a sand bar that juts out into the ocean.

After a full day of exploring, we will head back to Airlie Beach!

Take a multi-day tour to the Whitsundays

If you want to explore even more of the underwater wonderland, join a multi-day tour of the Whitsundays!

This 2-day tour is perfect for exploring while snorkelling, scuba diving, and kayaking. The two days are spent on a sailboat equipped with enough kayaks for everybody. The sailboat will take you to explore a range of reefs and hidden inlets throughout the Whitsundays. You can also choose to upgrade your tour package to include one to four dives.

When you’re not in the ocean, there is a hot tub on the boat that you can enjoy. The meals are also included and you can BYO alcohol on the boat (just not anything in a glass container).

If that sounds fun but you have some extra time to spare, join a 3-day Whitsundays tour. You can maximise your time in the Whitsundays by travelling on the Hammer. The sailboat has previously been in races and placed numerous times in various competitions. This means that you will be able to explore the Whitsundays while cruising around at a quicker speed.

The highlights of this tour include lots of snorkelling, swimming, and sailing. You will also visit some unparalleled lookout points and embark on some bushwalks. When you’re on the boat, enjoy the delicious prepared meals or rest in the hammock on deck.

By now we’re sure you are just as excited about the Whitsundays as we are. This is a must-visit destination, so be sure to add it as a stop on your next trip!
