75 Mile Beach

As you can guess, Seventy Five Mile Beach is 75 miles long which is 120 kilometres. Though it isn’t safe to get into the water, a lot of people love to fish along the beach.

Maheno Shipwreck

The Maheno was once one of the first turbine driven steamers. In 1935, the ship got sold to Japan for scrap. As the ship was being taken to Japan, a storm happened and snapped the tow chain. The Maheno was then left drifting until it hit one of Fraser Island’s beaches.

Champagne Pools

Champagne Pools is a unique Fraser Island attraction. As each wave comes in, the pools get filled with more water, creating seafoam fizzes like a jacuzzi. It’s a beautiful location and has stunning blue waters.

We hope you find your way to Fraser Island from Brisbane easily. It’s worth spending a couple of days on Fraser Island if you can!
