Day 1
We’ll depart from Brisbane and drive through the Sunshine Coast to Noosa. Tides permitting, we’ll begin our 4WD adventure cruising along the Noosa North Shore to Rainbow Beach where we’ll stop for a quick lunch and a swim. Then we continue along the 4WD tracks to Inskip Point to take the ferry across the Fraser Island. Admire the views and keep an eye out for dolphins, turtles, dugongs and more on the short trip across the strait.

Once on Fraser Island, we’ll travel along the sandy 75 Mile Beach Hwy passing amazing scenery before arriving at Lake Wabby. Stretch your legs with a walk, enjoy a swim in the emerald waters and maybe spot a turtle. We then follow the walking track through the lush forest to the permanent camping site at Dilli Beach. Cool off with another swim the fresh waters of Govi Creek before settling in around the campfire for dinner and drinks!

Day 2
Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise over the ocean (or sleep in!) before breakfast. Day two begins by travelling along the 75 Mile Beach Hwy to the crystal-clear waters of Eli Creek. We continue the adventure heading to the northern end of the island for some photos of the famous Maheno Shipwreck in the sand. We’ll enjoy a dip in the natural rock jacuzzi at Champagne Pools and take in the amazing views from Indian Head. The highpoint point makes this a great place to spot sharks, manta rays, whales and more in the ocean below. Head back to camp for another relaxing night around the campfire.

Day 3
Our last day begins with a stop at the famous azure waters of Lake McKenzie. After a swim and some lazing about on the fine white sand, we’ll enjoy a walk along the boardwalks at Wanggoolba Creek. Be amazed by the towering Satinay forests, admire the rare king fern and spot eels in the creek. Next up is another walk through Central Station, Fraser Island’s tropical rainforest growing in sand. In the afternoon, it’s time to head back south, driving through the Cooloola National Park to arrive back in Brisbane in the evening.

Fraser Island itineraries are always subject to change due to tidal and weather conditions. But don't worry! Your guide will take all conditions into consideration when planning your itinerary to ensure you have the best time!
