3 Day 2 Night Red Centre Trip


Take the trip of a lifetime around the Red Centre to see the Rock!

The Rock’ ‘Ayers Rock’ and ‘Uluru’. Whatever you want to call it, the massive rock formation in Australia’s Red Centre is a must do trip for anyone visiting this amazing country.

You’ll be in awe as you walk around the base of Uluru and marvel at the sheer size of this massive structure. You’ll enjoy the beautiful colour of the rock at the sunset as you watch the end of the day sweep over Uluru.

You’ll visit Kings Canyon and have plenty of time to walk around and relax at the watering hole in the middle known as the Garden of Eden. Kata Tjuta and the Valley of the Winds is the third major land mark you’ll explore on this amazing trip and makes for a spectacular walk through this beautiful area.

Day 1: Kings Canyon
We leave Alice Springs at 6:00am and travel to Kings Canyon. The afternoon is spent hiking the Canyon, with plenty of time for the North & South walls and a quick relax in the Garden of Eden and its waterhole. Enjoy dinner while viewing the sunset over the ranges. Then it's a nocturnal drive to our camp just past Curtin Springs.

Day 2: Kata Tjuta & Uluru
Spend the morning doing an amazing hike through the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta. After lunch, it's off to Uluru for a leisurely guided base walk around the Rock (lots of stories to hear and much to learn) and a visit to the informative Cultural Centre. Then relax and watch the sunset on this amazing monolith - back to our camp for another evening of star gazing.

Day 3: Uluru
Up early and into the rock for an optional sunrise climb. If you're not climbing your time is free to do the full base walk and absorb this beautiful & spiritual place. Then its back to Alice Springs along the highway stopping off for a free camel ride.
