The Rock’ ‘Ayers Rock’ and ‘Uluru’. Whatever you want to call it, the massive rock formation in Australia’s Red Centre is a must do trip for anyone visiting this amazing country.

You’ll be in awe as you walk around the base of Uluru and marvel at the sheer size of this massive structure. This trip allows you to fly in and out of Ayers Rock airport to take advantage of the cheaper airfares.

You’ll visit Kings Canyon and have plenty of time to walk around and relax at the watering hole in the middle known as the Garden of Eden. Kata Tjuta and the Valley of the Winds is the third major landmark you’ll explore on this amazing trip and makes for a spectacular walk through this beautiful area.

Day 1: Uluru Sunset (Meals - Lunch & Dinner)
You will be picked up from Uluru (Ayers Rock Airport) or Ayers Rock Resort just after 12:00pm. Meet tour bus at the front of the Uluru (Ayers Rock Airport) or at the front of your hotel. Take in the breathtaking sight of Uluru. You then have time to complete a guided Uluru Base Walk around Uluru. You will see beautiful sites such as the Mala Walk, Mutijulu Waterhole and Aboriginal cave paintings before heading to the Uluru sunset. We spend this night at the Ayers Rock Campground with toilets and showers after having dinner watching the sunset over Uluru.

Day 2: Kata Tjuta & Uluru Sunrise (Meals - Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) 
We leave the Ayers Rock Campground before sunrise to take in Uluru Sunrise before heading to Kata Tjuta aka the Olgas. Feel the spiritual significance on a guided walk through to the Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta. Be shown bush tucker along the hike before heading to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre where you can listen to tales from the 'Tjukurpa' Dreamtime. We spend this night at the historic Kings Creek Station with toilets and showers, 20km from Kings Canyon.

Day 3: Kings Canyon (Meals - Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)
Kings Canyon. Enjoy a 3 hour guided hike through the sandstone domes of the Lost City. Visit the many Amphitheatres, North & South Walls and the beautiful Garden of Eden. In the afternoon there's the opportunity for a few optional extras including a camel ride, helicopter tour or quad bike ride (own expense). We head to our final camping spot at Curtain Springs in time to watch the sunset over Mount Conner.

Day 4: Uluru

We finish up the tour with a hearty breakfast before heading back to Yulara ready to catch any morning flights from Uluru/Ayers Rock Airport.

Tour picks up from the Outback Pioneer (Ayers Rock Resort) at 12.30pm or Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport 1:00 - 2:00pm (times may vary according to day light saving time).

Departing flights must be booked for after 10:30pm on the 4th day. It's a good idea to include your flight details in the notes when you book.
