The Rock’ ‘Ayers Rock’ and ‘Uluru’. Whatever you want to call it, the massive rock formation in Australia’s Red Centre is a must do trip for anyone visiting this amazing country.

You’ll be in awe as you walk around the base of Uluru and marvel at the sheer size of this massive structure. This Trip allows you to fly in and out of Ayers Rock airport to take advantage of the cheaper airfares.

You’ll visit Kings Canyon and have plenty of time to walk around and relax at the watering hole in the middle known as the Garden of Eden. Kata Tjuta and the Valley of the winds is the third major land mark you’ll explore on this amazing trip and makes for a spectacular walk through this beautiful area.

Day 1: Uluru Sunset (Meals - L,D)
You will be picked up from Uluru (Ayers Rock Airport) or Ayers Rock Resort just after 12:00pm. Meet The Rock Tour Bus at the front of the Uluru (Ayers Rock Airport) or at the front of your Hotel. Take in the breath taking sight of Uluru the World’s Largest Rock. You then have time to complete a guided Uluru Base Walk around Uluru. You will see beautiful sites such as the Mala Walk, Mutijulu Waterhole and Aboriginal Cave Paintings before heading to Uluru Sunset. We spend this night at the Ayers Rock Campground with toilets and showers after having dinner watching the sunset over Uluru.

Day 2: Kata Tjuta & Uluru Sunrise (Meals - B, L, D) 
We leave the Ayers Rock Campground before sunrise to take in Uluru Sunrise before heading to The Olgas. Feel the spiritual significance on a guided walk through to the Valley of the Winds atKata Tjuta. Be shown bush tucker along the hike before heading to the Aboriginal Cultural Centre where you can listen to tales from the 'Tjukurpa' Dreamtime. We spend this night at the historic Kings Creek Station with toilets and showers, 20km from Kings Canyon.

Day 3: Kings Canyon (Meals - B,L)
Kings Canyon. Enjoy a 3 hour guided hike through the sandstone domes of the Lost City. Visit the many Amphitheatres, North & South Walls and the beautiful Garden of Eden. We stop on the way home for an optional Camel Ride at the Camel Farm and head back to Alice Springs at 5pm. You will spend one night at the YHA Alice Springs (included in package in a 6 share mix dorm room). Back to civilization. Get cleaned up and we meet later with your Guide for dinner and a couple of beers at The Rock Bar (meals from $10).

Day 4: Transfer Bus

We will pick up from the YHA in Alice Springs at 5:30am and drive back to Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport. You have a 6 hour bus trip to the Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport and we will arrive between 11.30am - 11.45am*

Tour picks up from the Outback Pioneer (Ayers Rock Resort) at 12.00pm or Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport at around 12.40pm (times may vary according to day light saving time).

From - October - March 31st - 12.40pm - pick up from Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport

From - April 1st  - Sept 31st - 1.40pm - pick up from Ayers Rock (Uluru) Airport

We run daily except for a few days over Christmas and New Year (No Tours available on 23/12, 24/12, 25/12, 26/12, 30/12, 31/12, 01/01)

Departing flights must be booked for after 12:30pm on the 4th day

3 nights are spent camping in swags and 1 night in YHA Alice Springs. Sleeping bags can be hired if needed for $20
