Day 2 : Cape Le Grand National Park
Begin the morning with a hike up East Mt Baron then we’ll take the coastal route into Esperance. Get ready for some of Australia’s most spectacular scenery with this part of WA having no less than 9 National Parks & where we camp is the most spectacular of all, Cape Le Grand National Park. The ocean here is practically transparent, the local eastern grey ‘roos are regularly sunbaking on the beach and the sand at Lucky Bay has twice been judged Australia’s whitest. Enjoy a free afternoon here and how you spend it is wholly up to you. Set out on a coastal bushwalk, splash about in the sea, fiddle around with your camera aperture or just kick back with your new buds along the beach. Today we travel 2.5 hours with stops along the way. Walking time is about 3 hours and you’ll be swag camping with toilet and shower facilities at Cape Le Grand.
Meal(s) included : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Then we head to Norseman for lunch and then we’ll take a stunning coastal drive stopping at some of the regions most breathtaking beaches including Twilight Cove before heading to the outback town of Norseman for lunch and hit the Eyre Highway to start our journey east bound.  Tonight you will get an IMAX version of the great southern sky where you’ll be left speechless by the show of constellations and shooting stars. Day 4 : The Nullabor & Koonalda Homestead

Driving’s the name of the game today (we’ve got 500 kilometres of the world’s longest stretch of straight road to cover!). Today will certainly give you a sense of the sheer size of this vast and ancient land. Koonalda Homestead in the Nullarbor National Park.  This unique camp site was originally a sheep shearing station and fuel and rest stop for people travelling along the Nullarbor in the 1950s. Abandoned in the 1970’s the site became somewhat of a car graveyard with old cars left behind, broken down on the Nullarbor Plain.  A photographers dream!Travel time today is about 6 hours and once again be prepared to be bedazzled by the wonders of the southern skies.  Koonalda Homestead provides toilets but no showers and all meals are cooked up for you again today.

Meal(s) included : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 5 : Great Australian Bight & Coodlie Park
Stops for today include the highway’s famous Camels/Kangaroos/Wombats Crossing road sign and the Bunda cliffs, where the Nullarbor Plain drops dramatically into the Southern Ocean. Running for approximately 200 kilometres along the Great Australian Bight, this is the world’s longest uninterrupted line of sea cliffs. After stocking up on supplies in Streaky Bay, we’ll arrive at Coodlie Park bush camp – a working farm retreat that boasts its own private beach and offers an insight into the demands of rural living. Tonight you may share a meal and stories with travellers from our other tours sleep in our super cool swag huts with shower facilities available. Today we travel for about 8 hours with stops along the way
Meal(s) included : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Choose shark diving and you’ll be boating out to sea, changing into dive gear and invited to hop in a cage for a meet-up with some real monsters of the deep. These are some critters we don’t suggest hand-feeding.

We visit Wadlata Cultural Centre and have an interpretive walk through the life of the new frontier pioneers of South Australia.  We’ll pick up any people returning from the Shark Cage Dive and then head to Mt. Remarkable National Park to set up camp for the night.

OPTIONAL EXPERIENCES

While everything on our tours is included in the price such as transport, accommodation, food and entry and national park fees, there are two optional extra activities that we leave up to the passenger to decide if they want to do.

Swim with sea lions and dolphins ($170pp)

This is an amazing experience - you may have swum with dolphins at other places around the world but the interaction that you will have with the sea lions and dolphins at Baird Bay will leave you breathless. Baird Bay is a sheltered bay on the Eyre Peninsula and passengers aboard the boat for a short ride to our first stop, which is to swim with sea lions.  This takes place in approximately 2 metres of water. It is a natural experience and the sea lions come into the sheltered lagoon to interact with us.

After this, we head further out into the bay to swim with the dolphins. This happens in four metres of water but is still within the sheltered bay. The tour is 3-4 hours, wetsuit and snorkel equipment is provided at no additional cost.

As this activity is outsourced, only limited spaces are available so you must book this optional experience at time of booking so you don’t miss out.  You will pay the operator direct $170 on the day of activity.
