You can sunbake on the spacious deck and relax as the stunning Whitsunday Islands scenery whizzes by. The anchor drops and it’s time to relax with up to 20 other guests. Whitsunday Island Maxi Sailing Adventure (Departs Airlie Beach)

This is a great way to explore the pristine beaches and stunning coral gardens of the Whitsunday Islands! The tour gives you a full day to relax at the magnificent Whitehaven Beach, walk to famous Hill Inlet Lookout and visit the South Whitehaven lookout. You'll experience up to six snorkelling stops on the coral reefs just at the edge of the islands, and a stop at the amazing outer reef (weather permitting).

Explore the Islands

We'll explore the islands with incredible walks and hikes to spectacular lookouts.

Visit Stunning Reefs

The tour will take you over 100km's around these stunning islands. That's 4 days and 3 nights of adventure. Your Maxi Yacht sails faster than other charter yachts. They use wind power so they are environmentally friendly. You'll visit the famous Whitehaven Beach as well as the Northern end of the Whitsundays. This area is considered the best fringing coral reefs in the Whitsundays, especially around Hayman Island, Langford Reef and Mantaray Bay. On this tour, we have time to explore at a relaxed pace, and even visit the outer reef for some of the best snorkelling in the Whitsundays.

Sailing The Boat

The Captain and crew know a lot about the Whitsunday Islands and the Marine Park and they enjoy sharing this if you are interested in learning more. You'll arrive back to the Marina at 3:30pm on the 4th day. Please note, itineraries can change due to the weather, tides and your skipper's professional judgement.

Good Weather

Note: All sailing/diving activities as well as destinations are dependent on good weather and are subject to change at the skipper’s discretion. Our priority is to make sure you have a good time and being out in good weather is important.

Seasonal Produce For Our Meals

Our visitors enjoy meals based on local and seasonal produce. The meals menu changes according to what is available and great eating at different times of the year.

Departures

Departs Coral Sea Marina, Airlie Beach at 10am. Returns to the same location on the third day at approximately 3:30pm.

Broomstick departs most Tuesdays and Saturdays. Please use our Book Now buttons to check the calendar for available departures.

Returns: 3.30pm on day 3

Check-in: at the office at 350 Shute Harbour Road, Airlie Beach. Check in is available between 10am - 3pm the day before departure or by 8am the day of departure. The friendly staff will take you through a pre-departure briefing and everything you need to know for the trip.

All travellers are required to reconfirm their travel at least 48 hours before departure.

Most dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice. Please provide any dietary requirements in the notes when you book.

All accommodation is in shared dorm style cabins and sections below deck. All passengers will be given their own bed
