Day 1 - Cairns

Arrive in Cairns at any time and check into your accommodation the rest of the afternoon is yours to explore Cairns or just chill in the pool!

Day 2 - The Great Barrier Reef (Lunch)

Enjoy a Day trip on Great Barrier Reef with Snorkelling!

Day 3 - Cairns

Today is free to explore Cairns at your leisure

Day 4 - Cairns

Chill poolside at your hostel then party it up for your last night in Cairns!

Day 5 - Cairns to Airlie Beach

Checkout of the hostel and enjoy the day in Cairns before making your way to Airlie Beach.

Day 6 - The Whitsundays (Dinner)

Begin 2 days 2 nights Whitsundays sailing, Sleep on the boat itinerary will depend on the boat you choose, click the Whitsunday Boat Options tab to check out the boats and their itineraries

Day 7 - The Whitsundays (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 8 - Return to Airlie Beach (Breakfast)

Return to Airlie Beach from your Whitsundays adventure and celebrate being back on dry land!

Day 9 - Airlie Beach to Rainbow Beach

Enjoy the full day in Airlie Beach before hopping on an overnight bus to Rainbow Beach

Day 10 - Rainbow Beach

Arrive early in Rainbow Beach, there is a Safety Briefing at 4:00pm for your Fraser island Tour

Day 11 - Fraser Island (Lunch, Dinner) 

Today you begin your Fraser island tour! The morning of departure is a pretty hectic time, with excitement everywhere, we will again split you up into your groups and ask you to work together in checking off all your food to make sure it is all there before you go. You will pack your food into the eskies, alcohol into cool boxes, do a full vehicle inspection including checking all camping and cooking equipment is provided and then do a full driver briefing outlining the most important aspects of driving on soft sand and how to use the gears. Then it’s off you go!!

Day 12 - Fraser Island (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Due to tide times and changing conditions, the itinerary of the tour will forever change in terms of where you go, on what days but know that the experience of the lead driver will ensure you get to see the most important and beautiful sights on Fraser Island. Some of these should include Lake McKenzie, Lake Wabby, Eli Creek, Champagne Pool, Indian Head and The Maheno Shipwreck to name but a few. You will only set up camp the one time and travel back to this area every evening so you can sit down, relax with a drink and cook your evening meals without the hassles of having to relocate every time.

Day 13 - Return to Rainbow Beach (Breakfast, Lunch)

Due to tide times and changing conditions, the itinerary of the tour will forever change in terms of where you go, on what days but know that the experience of the lead driver will ensure you get to see the most important and beautiful sights on Fraser Island. Some of these should include Lake McKenzie, Lake Wabby, Eli Creek, Champagne Pool, Indian Head and The Maheno Shipwreck to name but a few. You will only set up camp the one time and travel back to this area every evening so you can sit down, relax with a drink and cook your evening meals without the hassles of having to relocate every time.

On the third and final day, you will arrive back into Rainbow Beach approximately around 4:00pm (depending on tides).

Day 14 - Rainbow Beach to Noosa

Travel to Noosa and check into your accommodation, afterwards, it's time to hit the beach or explore!

Day 15 - Noosa

Explore Noosa at your own leisure, head to Australia Zoo, the Everglades, Noosa National Park or just chill on the beach.

Day 16 - Noosa to Brisbane

Travel from Noosa to Brisbane and enjoy the afternoon discovering the city.

Day 17 - Brisbane to Surfers Paradise

Travel to Surfers Paradise and hit the beach or visit the theme parks!

Day 18 - Surfers Paradise

Relax on the beautiful beach or go shopping.

Day 19 - Surfers Paradise to Byron Bay

Checkout of the hostel and travel to Byron Bay, it is now time to relax!!!

Day 20 - Byron Bay

Keep relaxing! You can also take a lovely walk to the lighthouse. There is the possibility to have a surf lesson, go on a kayak tour to see the dolphins or visit Nimbin (extra cost)

Day 21 - Byron Bay

Day 22  - Byron Bay to Sydney

Enjoy a full day in Byron Bay before hopping on an overnight bus to Sydney.

Day 23 - Sydney

Arrive in  Sydney early, the rest of the day is free to explore at your own leisure. See the Botanical gardens, Opera House and the Harbour Bridge or anything else you desire!

Day 24 - Sydney

Today is a free day to discover Sydney at your own leisure, check out the beaches! Bondi, Manly and Coogee.

Day 25 -  Sydney

Explore Sydney at your own leisure

Day 26 - Sydney to Melbourne

Enjoy a full day in Sydney before hopping on an overnight bus to Melbourne

Day 27 - Melbourne

Arrive in Melbourne early and check into your accommodation, the rest of the day is free to explore as you please!

Day 28 - The Great Ocean Road (Lunch)

Learn the history of the great ocean road while marvelling at the coastline. You will visit Loch Ard Gorge, see the famous Twelve Apostles and more on this great day tour.

Day 29 - Melbourne

Today is free to Explore Melbourne as you please, check out the graffiti laneways, Queen Victoria market, the Eureka Skydeck, St Kilda and more!

Day 30 - Melbourne

Today is the end of your journey, you can check out of the hostel and travel onward at any time.

*To drive on Fraser Island you must be 21 years of age or older (please note if you don't have a drivers licence or don't want to drive you can be a passenger)

A: No, this is a combination of accommodation and separate tours that we organise for you. You need to choose how you travel between your destinations whether by bus or driving. You can then select a starting date and we’ll organise everything and send you an itinerary!
