3 Day 2 Night Fraser Island Tag Along Safari

Your tour starts from the day before you head out to Fraser Island with a compulsory safety briefing the day prior. This gives you a chance to learn about driving on soft sand and your safety equipment. The briefing takes about approximately 1.5 hours and you'll learn a lot. After the briefing you'll be allocated to a vehicle group. You'll then get a chance to meet other travellers who will be touring with you.

The morning of departure is an exciting time. You'll work together with your travel group to;

• Double check all your supplies
• Pack your food into the eskies
• Pack alcohol into cool boxes
• Do a full vehicle inspection
• Check all camping and cooking equipment
• Revise the driver briefing on soft sand driving and use of gears.

Then it's off you go.

See The Best Places

Your itinerary will change according to tide times and changing weather conditions. Your experienced lead driver will ensure you get to see the very best of Fraser Island. You'll be seeing places like Lake McKenzie, Lake Wabby, Eli Creek, Champagne Pool, Indian Head and The Maheno Shipwreck to name a few.

Relax at One Base Camp

You'll only have to set up camp once on this camping trip. Every evening you'll travel back to this area to sit down, relax with a drink and cook your evening meal.

Party Time at Rainbow Beach

On the third and final day you will arrive back into Rainbow Beach approximately around 3.30pm (depending on tides). This is a great time to enjoy a few drinks and some food with you new friends at the on-site bar and restaurant. The bar hosts nightly entertainment including; live music (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays), Karaoke and party games. There are happy hour bar prices and $10 meals daily from 6-8pm.

Ride to Paradise Whitsundays Resort Stay

Departs: Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2pm

Returns: Wednesdays, Friday and Mondays at 12pm

Day 1

2pm is your time to shine! This is the time we depart Abell Point Marina with your friendly crew on the Wildcat! We speed off in our comfy smooth vessel to the gorgeous Paradise Cove Resort. We land on the sand and walk up to the breathtaking resort where a delicious antipasto platter is waiting for you. The crew will give a safety demonstration and explain what we are going to get up to over the following day.

Following a short tour of the resort you will be shown to your rooms before enjoying some free time to take advantage of the resort’s facilities. Play tennis, pool, go stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, walk on the beach, play football or just kick back in a hammock and enjoy.

When Dinner is finished the crew will light a fire down the beach so everyone can try their hands at roasting marshmallows. After counting the stars in the night sky it’s time to head in for the night and get ready for our day of exploring tomorrow!
Day 2

Rise and shine in the morning and head down for breakfast and fruit salad before heading out for the  day on the Whitsunday islands. First up we head to whitehaven beach the the stunning hill inlet lookout. After getting some amazing pictures at the lookout you can head down to the beach for some exploring. Keep your eyes peeled in the shallows for stingrays and baby sharks while enjoying soaking up the suns rays! After some beach time it’s lunch time! We enjoy some cold meats and pasta and salad to fuel us up for the afternoon.

We hop back on wildcat and head to Mantaray Bay for some amazing snorkel time. You’ll even get to meet the amazing Maori Wrasse ‘George’ as well as 100’s of colourful fish. By now you’ll be ready for some chill time so we head back to the resort for more rest, relaxation and enjoying the resorts awesome facilities.
Day 3
We kick off the day with another Yummy Breakfast before heading off on another adventure. We’ll enjoy a refreshing morning race with the wind in our hair to the Langford Sandbar. The boat will take you right to the sand where you can enjoy a few hours snorkeling with the turtles on or chilling out on the beach. We enjoy some morning tea before enjoying a 45 minute ride home to Airlie beach reflecting on the awesome time had by everyone.
